Over six weekly sessions, we will work together to build your skills from the ground up. I will personally guide you through the fundamentals of exceptional image capture and the art of advanced editing, tailored completely to your equipment and your goals. Your journey from field to final image

Your personalized 6-week curriculum is designed to build a complete, end-to-end workflow.

Week 1: The Foundations of Quality Data: Learn to capture the best possible raw data, making editing ten times easier.
Week 2: Optimising Your Capture Session Go beyond the basics. We’ll cover optimal exposure times, gain settings, and how to use filters effectively to maximise your image’s Signal-to-Noise Ratio ( $S / N$ ).
Week 3: In-Field Troubleshooting Become a pro at solving common issues on the spot. We’ll tackle everything from tracking errors to software glitches so you never waste a clear night again.
Week 4: The Art of Stacking Turn your raw files into a clean master image. Learn the best practices for calibration (darks, flats, bias) and stacking in your preferred software.
Week 5: The Editing Core Demystify the editing process. We’ll cover the essential first steps: background extraction, colour calibration, and initial stretching to reveal the beauty in your data.
Week 6: Advanced Processing & Polish Learn the advanced techniques that create breathtaking images: targeted noise reduction, star minimization, sharpening with deconvolution, and enhancing faint nebulosity.
