Giveaway Terms and Conditions:
11. The Promoter
The promoter of this competition is AstroEdit Ltd hereafter referred to as “the Promoter”.
2. The Competition
2.1. The title of the competition is the AstroEdit.co.uk AstroEditor 1000 image ‘Beginner to Pro’ Course Giveaway.
2.2. This competition is being run on the Promoter’s official Instagram (@AstroEdit) and Facebook (
3. How to Enter
3.1. The competition will run from 10:00 PM UTC on August 27, 2025 to 7:00 PM UTC on September 3, 2025 inclusive.
3.2. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3. To enter the competition, entrants must complete ALL of the following steps:
a) Follow the Promoter’s official page (@AstroEdit.co.uk) on Instagram or Facebook.
b) Like and Share the official giveaway post on their personal feed or story.
c) Post a new image to their own public Instagram or Facebook feed that has been edited using the AstroEditor AI tool – tagging the official AstroEdit Instagram account in it.
d) Complete the official entry form via the link provided in the Promoter’s social media bio, which includes answering the question: “Why should we give you the training?”
3.4. No purchase is necessary to enter.
3.5. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware, or software failure of any kind.
3.6. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Eligibility
4.1. The competition is open to all residents of Worldwide aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition.
4.2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter.
4.3. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
5. The Prize
5.1. One (1) winner will receive one (1) spot in the AstroEdit.co.uk 6-week ‘Beginner to Pro Astrophotography’ online training course.
5.2. The prize is valued at approximately £800.
5.3. The prize is not negotiable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
5.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1. The competition is a game of skill. The winner will be chosen by a judge or panel of judges appointed by the Promoter based on the most creative, passionate, and compelling answer to the question “Why should we give you the training?”.
6.2. The judging will take place on or shortly after the Closing Date. The decision of the judge(s) is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.3. The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided on the entry form) within 24 hours of being chosen.
6.4. The winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of being notified. If the winner does not claim the prize within this period, their claim will become invalid, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
6.5. The Promoter will announce the winner’s name and/or social media handle on its Instagram and Facebook pages on or around 7:00 PM UTC on September 3, 2025.
7. Use of User-Generated Content (UGC)
7.1. By entering this competition, you grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and share your submitted astrophotography image on any of the Promoter’s social media channels, website, and other marketing materials, solely in connection with this competition and for the promotion of AstroEdit.co.uk.
7.2. You retain full copyright and ownership of your submitted image. The Promoter will make a reasonable effort to credit you as the creator of the image wherever it is used.
7.3. By entering, you warrant that the submitted image is your own original work and does not infringe on the copyright or intellectual property rights of any third party.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
8.1. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided with your entry may be held and used by the Promoter to administer the competition and for winner announcement purposes.
8.2. If you are the winner, you agree that the Promoter may use your name to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
8.3. All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
9. General Conditions
9.1. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.2. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook). By entering, you agree to a complete release of Instagram and Facebook from any and all liability in connection with this competition.
9.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
