Registration

Step 1 - Click Register Now!

Head down to the features section on our Homepage to register for a free account with AstroEdit or you can click Here!

It’s absolutely free to sign up for an account. 

Step 2 - Enter in your details

Enter your desired Username, password and a valid email address in order to sign up

This allows us to create an account for you to access AstroEditor.

Once you’ve clicked submit, you will be sent a registration confirmation email. Click the registration link to validate your email and complete the registration process

Step 3 - Go to your account

In the top right of the home page ( or any page on the website) you will see the My Account button.

Click My Account to take you through to the log in page. use the details you put in at the last step and log into your account.

Step 4 - Log in

Click Log in to take you through to the log in page and log into your account, using the details you put in at the last step

Step 5 - My Account

That’s it. You are now logged into your account. From here you will be able to make changes to your account and access AstroEditor AI.

AstroEditor AI

Step 1 - Go to the web app

AstroEditor AI is a web app that allows you to upload your images and have them edited automatically. 

First step is to head over to https://astroedit.co.uk/astroeditor 

 

If you haven’t signed up for an account yet, go to the top section and register for an account. You will not be able to see the app if you have not signed in.

Step 2 - Upload an image

Click the Browse Files button and select your image. Currently it supports FIT, FITS and TIF files. These are the most common outputs from stacking software or astrophotography cameras. 

Step 3 - Select editing model

The tool has a set of AI models that are designed to analyse the image and extract the most from it. You have a choice of three to pick from. Think of them as how intense an edit you want to make. Feel free to try all of them on your image and see which ever looks best to you.

Step 4 - Enter your email

The processing will take a few mins to edit your image depending on how busy the service is. Once its finished editing, it will email you (on this address) a link to the finished image for you to download. Please make sure your email address is correct before submitting.

Step 5 - Click 'Edit my Image'

Click the button and that’s all there is to it. Once the editing is complete, we will email you with a link to download your edited image. So check your emails, including junk folder for the email. Each image takes around 5 minutes to edit, but this does depend on how busy the service is at the time. 

AstroEditor AI - Android

Step 1 - Go to the web app

AstroEditor AI is a web app that allows you to upload your images and have them edited automatically.

Step 2 - Save App to your Desktop

We’ve designed the app so you can save it right to your desktop. Click the 3 dots at the top right corner and scroll down to ‘Add to Home Screen’ 

Step 3 - Enter name for it and Select Add

Select the name you want it to display with and click add.

Step 4 - Click the Icon

Whenever you want to access AstroEditor in the future you can just click the icon on your Home Screen and be taken straight there.
